Grinding away some excess fender with The Dead Weather on the radio and a cold beer on the workbench makes for a pleasant Friday evening.
The US Open of Snowboarding has been moved from it’s long time home in Stratton, VT to Vail, CO. Vermonters aren’t just going to sit around and sulk though. For three days (March 14-17), Stratton is hosting the VT Open, celebrating the pioneer days and spirit of snowboarding. I’m glad I was at Stratton for the last edition of the US Open and hope to be there for the first edition of the VT Open.
It’s cold out, zero degrees Fahrenheit cold. There’s only one thing to do: dream about warm weather, riding motorcycles and camping…
PS: This video introduced me to Ben Howard, for which I’m grateful.
